Anna M. Pennino, O.D.
Anna Pennino, O.D. received her baccalaureate degree from California State University at Fullerton. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from New England College of Optometry Boston, Massachusetts in 1991. Post-doctorate, Dr. Pennino participated in clinical research, evaluating the ocular side-effects of cholesterol-lowering medication. She is a native Californian practicing in her two locations; Del Rey Optometry, Playa Del Rey (2002) and South Gate Optometry, South Gate (2007).
“I am committed to delivering personalized patient care. I do my best to connect with each patient to solve their visual needs while educating and giving everyone a reason to smile.”
Her professional interests are primary care optometry and specialty contact lenses including multifocal and myopia control. She has been a sponsoring doctor for Unite For Sight, a non-profit organization that empowers communities worldwide to improve eye health and eliminate preventable blindness. She has participated in contact lens solution studies and contact lens consulting.
Dr. Pennino also enjoys expressing her creative side. She is the co-designer of her exclusive eyewear collection Pepper Zagg.
In addition to optometry and designing eyewear, Dr. Pennino is an enthusiastic skier, scuba diver, and adventurous traveler. She is an active volunteer at the Orange County Food Bank and Kinetic Academy Charter School, founded by her husband. She can’t resist an ice-cold diet coke and believes the best medicine is a good laugh. Dr. Pennino is married to an ambitious banker, and a Mom to two sets of twin boys! In her spare time when she is not chauffeuring her boys to their various activities, she looks forward to relaxing with her husband and a glass of red wine.

Fabian Corona, O.D., M.S
Fabian Corona, O.D., M.S. graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion, and Disease Prevention Studies, as well as a Master of Science in Global Medicine. He received his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. While in optometry school he served as the study coordinator for the Contact Lens Assessment in Youth (CLAY) Study to evaluate whether certain behavioral or environmental factors of different age groups put them at higher risk for soft contact lens complications. He remains active in contact lens research, most recently serving as a collaborating individual investigator for the latest arm of the CLAY study in 2018.
He has volunteered his time to help provide eye care to the underserved in Peru and Fiji, as well as several communities across Southern California. Most recently he volunteered at the Special Olympics in LA and has been involved with vision screenings for local school districts.
Dr. Corona was awarded Young Optometrist of the Year in 2019 by the California Optometric Association and is a past-president of the Rio Hondo Optometric Society, where he currently serves on the board of directors. His professional interests include diabetic eye care, scleral lens fittings, and myopia control.
He is fluent in Spanish and has been providing eye care to his hometown of South Gate since 2014.

Felicia K. Chen, O.D.
Felicia Chen, O.D. graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and a minor in Psychology. She continued her education at the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctorate in Optometry in 2004.
Dr. Chen has been a clinical investigator for the Multi-Ethnic Pediatric Eye Disease Study at the Doheny Eye Institute, the University of Southern California contributing to multiple journal publications. She is a therapeutic optometrist with glaucoma certification and is trained in the treatment and management of eye diseases. She is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Indonesian and Spanish.
Dr. Chen is married to her college sweetheart Richard. She enjoys the hard work of balancing patient care while raising their three young children. She actively volunteers for her children’s school and Girls Scouts. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, traveling, watching NBA and cooking with her kids.

Ashik Mathur, OD
Dr. Ashik Mathur earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA. His clinical training included externships at LA Ambulatory Care, University Eye Center at Los Angeles, and EYEcenter Optometric locations in Northern California. Through these experiences, he gained expertise in diagnosing and managing various eye conditions while serving patients from diverse backgrounds.
Before pursuing optometry, Dr. Mathur completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences.
He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the California Optometric Association (COA), American Optometric Association (AOA), and Rio Hondo Optometric Society (RHOS).
Dr. Mathur is fluent in English, Spanish, Gujarati, and Hindi, allowing him to connect with a wide range of patients.
Outside of work, he enjoys watching movies, exploring new restaurants, and playing cricket and volleyball. A passionate sports fan, he proudly supports the Los Angeles Dodgers, Rams, and Lakers.

Jane Fang, OD
Jane Fang, O.D. is a Southern California native who grew up in the San Gabriel Valley. She graduated from University of California, San Diego with Bachelor of Science degrees in both General Biology and Management Science. Combining her interests in the sciences and in management, she went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL in 2017. Her clinical externships span states on both coasts with focus on ocular disease, vision therapy, and low vision. After surviving many cold winters in Chicago practicing in a variety of demographic settings, she finally returned to sunny Southern California in 2022. Dr. Fang previously practiced in the San Fernando Valley focusing on primary care, myopia control, scleral lenses, and cataract/refractive surgery co-management.
On her days off, she likes to spend time with family and friends, hiking, and trying new restaurants.

Minette Tsang, OD
Dr. Minette Tsang graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Integrative Biology and Classical Civilizations. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Herbert Wertheim School of Optometry at UC Berkeley.
After leaving her hometown to pursue her education at UC Berkeley, Dr. Tsang lived in the Bay Area for 10 years. During this time, she completed her clinical rotations and developed her expertise in diagnosing and treating a range of eye conditions. A proud Southern Californian native, Dr. Tsang is thrilled to return home to serve the community that supported her growth. She is dedicated to staying at the forefront of optometric care through continuous learning about the latest advancements in technology in order to give back to her local community.
Outside of optometry, Dr. Tsang enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring local restaurants and dining experiences. She finds joy in discovering new culinary delights and appreciates the vibrant food culture of Southern California. Currently, she is attempting to master the art of sourdough baking and finding the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe.
